Do you know an outstanding individual or group in the Caloundra Electorate?

Help shine a light on their contribution to our community by nominating them for an award today.

They must live, work, study or volunteer in the Caloundra Electorate which includes Caloundra, Aura, Glenview, Landsborough and Beerwah.

Finalists and Winners will be announced at the awards ceremony. All nominees will receive a certificate of recognition for their outstanding achievements.

PTSD Dogs Australia Fundraiser Event

PTSD Dogs Australia is a Not for profit Charity, solely dedicated to the rescuing, re-homing, and training of suitable displaced or unwanted dogs to support and assist our ADF and First Responders who have developed and now experience a condition known as Post Traumatic Stress Disorder from their experiences in the line of duty.

Join us on the 14th of September at The Concept in Newspaper Place, Maroochydore for the inaugural PTSD Dogs Fundraiser event. Each ticket sold will go to help “rescuing dogs who rescue humans”.

Ticket includes:

  • Italian Style Canapés

  • 2 glasses of wine

  • live music

  • raffles & lucky door prizes

  • cash bar

Caloundra Family History and Research Inc Open Day - Hosted by CFHRI

On Saturday 17th August 2019, Caloundra Family History and Research Inc group is celebrating Family History Month and Senior Citizens Week by having an Open Day from 10am to 3pm. Refreshments are provided and one of our members Sue Brownjohn is presenting a brief talk on Ancestry at 1pm.

Visitors will be given the opportunity to view our resource facility and how we can assist the in learning to research.

They will also be able to talk one on one with an experienced researcher. This will help them to plan a course of action with their future research, by using the indexed databases and subscription sites we have on our computers

We welcome one and all. Make a date and we look forward to seeing you at our rooms.
